China’s total GDP in 1980 was under $90 billion in current dollars. Today, it is over $12 trillion. The world has never seen such enormous economic growth in such a short time.
We made it easy for them. The US GAVE China a good part of our GDP by moving factories there in exchange for cheap labor. We HELPED China to build industry without borrowing. China got jobs for its dispossessed rural population and technology exchanges with all those factories.
The Chinese think and plan on a time scale unknown in the west. Asked what he thought the effects were of the French Revolution (in 1789), a Chinese leader responded, ‘It’s too early to tell.’
World powers come and go. The US has had its turn and made a mess of it. We’ve squandered our advantages. We’ve spent trillions on pointless wars. Meanwhile, we’ve GIVEN China much of our industrial base in exchange for cheap labor. That destroyed our jobs base. At the same time, we’ve given them technology just so they would buy a few things from us.
China will be getting revenge on the west that treated it so badly.
We didn’t sell China the rope to hang us. We sent the rope factory to China so they could make it themselves.
The US has accelerated China’s rise by 50-100 years.
This can happen because firstly the ZIOPIGS are too GREEDY. In 1974 a businessman told me his clothing factory Van Lack was based in Malacca. The cost of production for each shirt is only 33cents and the shirt was sold for $35. I asked him what about the workmanship and he said that the machinse were better than human and he told me the high wages in America cannot go on very soon most of the factories will move to Asia for greater profits. In 1966 he already move his factory to Malaysia. I was only 18 years old at that time and in a splash I recall what my mother said, “Capitalism has no heart for the human soul it’s all about the bottom line.” Corporates don’t care for the people except to make as much money without any full stop:(

arleankelley Thank you for this. I was so long under the deception about Israel,. I had no idea the “jews” went in and took over houses and farms of the Palestinians. I thought they moved there, bought land, built homes and “made the desert bloom.” Hard to believe I was so deceived. I am glad to see others waking up. The use here of the term “concentration camp” is based on the need to break free of the linguistic bonds of the Nazi period.
In the Gaza Strip, which is closed off like a confined and separated camp, live some 2 million people in one of the most densely populated places in the world. About 70 percent of them are the descendants of refugees expelled from their homes. Absent freedom of movement condemned them to a life of unemployment, dreariness, poverty, disease, depression, contaminated water and soil, and dependence on ever-dwindling charity. And that is even without the military bombings and incursions.
Bergen-Belsen as a prisoners camp and thereafter as a concentration and extermination camp for Jews was dismantled after about four years of existence, with the defeat of the Third Reich. The concentration camp that is Gaza has existed under ever harsher conditions for almost three decades. Contrary to Israeli propaganda, it was created before the suicide bombings, before Oslo. Before Hamas took charge and developed its military skills. Israel has a political goal in mind in turning Gaza into a giant concentration camp: Cutting it and its inhabitants off from the rest of the Palestinians so that it will become a separate entity, deprived of history, roots and belonging. ¶
